The roadway adjacent to Kildare beach was being jeopardized after many severe storms and a new solution was required to ensure the protection of the coastline.
The Langley Wall was designed to protect the beachfront near the road and ensure the energy created from the wave and tidal action is released in a controlled manner to prevent further erosion from occurring. It is anticipated that the system will continue to perform over the years and allow for a successful outcome.
