Our Company

Coastal Seawall Industries Inc. was formed as a result of a vision shared by the owners to provide a solution to stabilizing the issue of erosion to the coast and inland shorelines.

Graham Langley and grandson Mathew Archibald teamed up with Donald Stewart and Denton Ellis to create Coastal Seawall Industries (CSI) in 2010. The company is located in O’Leary, Prince Edward Island.

Graham Langley, co-owner of CSI, is a resident of Pictou, Nova Scotia and it was there he designed, built and tested the first erosion structure over 20 years ago. As a professional civil engineer, he has worked to enhance a system and structure that is durable, aesthetically pleasing and very effective. The Langley Wall structure has been tested and perfected to provide optimal strength to combat the harsh climatic conditions of the Atlantic Canada environment.

OUR PROJECTS

During the past twenty years, several structures using the Langley Wall were built throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Many cottage and home owners embraced the design to be integrate into their landscape to protect their valuable assets.

Since creation of CSI in 2010, we have introduced structures using the Langley Wall to the Prince Edward Island landscape. The historic West Point Lighthouse was the first structure completed on PEI. Souris and Kildare both followed using The Langley Wall to protect roads that were being severely eroded from tidal and storm surges on the coastline of PEI.
