Coastal Seawall Industries offers a new alternative to traditional coastal protection methods. Using a proven formula developed in Nova Scotia by engineer Graham Langley, CSI has developed a system of birth vertical and horizontal metal beams, hemlock planks and specifically sized aggregate to engineer rigid coastal protection systems that will endure the coastal ice, rising tides and storm surges threatening vulnerable shorelines.
The town of Souris chose the Langley Wall structure to protect the parking lot and roadway adjacent to the entrance of their town. The area had been severely eroded from tidal and storm surges over the past few years and required an immediate solution to this environmental problem.
